Responsibilities:
- Develop territory of accounts with responsibility for retaining and growing revenue through account management, cross-sell, and upselling when available
- Achieve total territory revenue goal and new product sales goals on a monthly and annual basis
- Identify and develop sales opportunities within assigned territory and bring them to closure
- Develop a deep knowledge of business product and service lines as directed by the Director of Sales and appropriately leverage resources in the sales process
- Maintain market and customer knowledge to stay abreast of trends and developments within the corporate compliance industry
- Develop a broad understanding of key competitors and be articulate in differentiating JD Consults from our competition within your accounts and in the sales process
- Schedule quarterly meetings/account reviews with clients/decision-makers and other key stakeholders
- Work independently to build pipeline and territory, while contributing to a team, developing excellent and long-standing client relationships, and consistently meeting monthly/annual sales objectives
- Wherever possible secure account and territory revenue in committed, multi-year agreements/bundles
- Identify and resolve customer issues for successful resolution
- Maintain accurate customer and sales pipeline data in JD Consults Portal
- Build relationships and close sales remotely via email and telephone/video contact only.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of two years of sales experience, or equivalent, commissioned, business-to-business sales experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
- Ideally experienced in the legal or corporate compliance industries
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience with sales management software
- Excellent presentation and verbal/written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, working effectively with a wide range of people at all levels
- Highly goal-oriented, focused on achieving/exceeding expected results
